Our 550th Production

January 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 2026
Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
When CB’s dog dies from rabies, CB begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group’s bullying, offers CB peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits.
Warning: Contains adult themes and adult language, it is not suitable for young children. Viewer discretion is advised.
Meet the Cast
Annie Hnatko as Van’s Sister
Annie is excited to return to OAP’s stage after a long stint of directing and producing. She’s been performing for… too many years to be currently playing a teenager. Annie is OAP’s VP of Production. Her recent credits include Disenchanted, Company, and The Fantasticks. She is a graduate of AVA and WCUPA (Opera Performance and Music Education, respectively). She thanks her adoring fans (Steve and her mom) for their support!
Brian Balduzzi as CB
Brian (he/him) is excited to return to Old Academy Players after appearing as William Blore in the 2024 production of And Then There Were None, and to return to this play after previously directed it in 2007 as his college junior thesis project. Some of Brian’s favorite roles include, but are not limited to: George Gibbs in Our Town, Jack in Into the Woods, Danny Saunders in The Chosen, Laurie in Little Women: The Musical, Mark in The Shadow Box, and Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest. By day, Brian practices as a tax, business and estate planning attorney with Faegre Drinker in its Philadelphia, Princeton and New York offices. He hopes that you will consider how kindness may make a small difference in others’ lives. Thank you to the cast and crew for their joy, kindness and talent in bringing this production to the stage.
Cassidy Leyendecker as Tricia
Cassidy is thrilled to be making her Old Academy Players debut with this wonderful cast! This is her first show in almost seven years and she is so grateful to the cast and crew for their support and encouragement. Past credits include Bottom in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet in Hamlet, and Cookie in Neil Simon’s Rumors. Cassidy would like to thank her family and friends for their love and generosity, especially her mother who has always been her biggest cheerleader, critic, and inspiration.
Isaura Sanguinetti as Marcy
Isaura is thrilled to return to OAP as Marcy in Dog Sees God. You may have seen her last spring as Pocahontas in OAP’s production of Disenchanted. Recently, Isaura has served as stage manager for Mt. Airy Home Companion: Give Me Liberty! and as a photographer for OAP’s other mainstage productions. Isaura would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support. When she is not performing, Isaura indulges in her love of photography.
Micah Wagman as Matt
Micah is super excited to be back on the stage in his third Old Academy Players production. He made his Old Academy Players debut in the 2024 One Act Bonanza, where he played Danny and Jef (with one F). He was then cast as Adam Kent in Old Academy’s production of A Rainbow Holiday. Micah is excited to play a character that is different from his usual comedic role. Outside of the theater you can see him singing show-tunes in the car, playing video games or just adventuring around.
Ross Weisman as Van
Ross is thrilled to make his Old Academy debut! Considering his last time acting onstage was in high school, stepping into this role feels particularly apt. Ross regularly performs improv comedy with The N Crowd and Thank You, Places: The Improvised Musical. Outside of performance, Ross enjoys biking, cooking, and playing every boardgame he can get his hands on. Ross thanks his family (especially Ryan and Buffalo) and friends for their support as he returns to the dramatic stage.
Taylor Rouillard as CB’s Sister
Taylor is super excited to be in her debut with Old Academy. She graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Degree in Theatre Arts. You may have seen her as Moth in Loves Labours Lost at ActorsNet, Shelby in Steel Magnolias at Playmasters, Catherine in Arms and the Man with Indecorous Theatre, Alais in Lion in Winter, Constance Bonacieux in Three Musketeers at Colonial Playhouse, and has done readings with New Landia Theatre and Media Arts Council. She also has been in Player’s Club of Swathmore’s Mother of the Maid as Monique, Allen Lane Theatre’s Little Women as Beth and Philadelphia Story as Elsie, Village Player of Hatboro’s Biloxi Blues as Daisy Hannigan. Recently you could have caught her on the Burn Pattern Podcast. When not on stage, she is also the Artistic Director of the Drama Group of Germantown. Taylor would like to thank her family and friends for all the support they have given her for this show.
William Reid as Beethoven
William is doing his happiest dance (you know the one) to be in this production of Dog Sees God. A long time Peanuts fan (and quite possibly the biggest one you’ll meet), he first read this play when he was 13 and fell in love with it immediately. When not pursuing his craft onstage, Will can be found working at Adventure Aquarium in Camden or balancing gig work as a theater educator in South Jersey. He has directed over 10 shows in his 4 years teaching, including regional premieres of Finding Nemo, Jr. and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. His other educational work includes stage managing, sound design, and being a teaching artist with DiAE (Delaware Institute for Arts in Education) and DWT (Delaware Wolf Trap). He sends much love and appreciation to his cast mates and the production team for plunging into this script with him, especially Brian for navigating the complexity of CB and Beethoven’s relationship with such warmth and friendliness. Finally, Will would like to thank his partner, Mj, the green light across the bay. He hopes all you blockheads enjoy the show! Favorite recent credits include: Nikko (Wizard of Oz), Choir (Hunchback), Deputy (Edwin Drood), Beleaguered Geek (Heathers), Bud/Clyde Barrow u/s (Bonnie and Clyde). He can next be seen onstage in American Son at Masquerade Theatre in Riverside, NJ. Insta: @the_william_reid williamreid.net.
Norman Burnosky (Director)
Norman is happy to direct his third main-stage play in as many years at Old Academy and to work with such a talented cast. He has previously directed The Book Club Play and The Exes. He is the President of the Old Academy Players and has appeared in many OA productions and worked backstage in several others. Past roles include: Robert in Boeing Boeing, Ivan in The Seafarer, Panch in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Father Mark in Tony and Tina’s Wedding. Norman is thankful for working with a talented production team. He would like to thank his wife, Justine, for her many years of support.
Corey Bonfrisco (Producer)
Corey is a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson University where he studies Psychology and is the Technical Director of Gemini Revival Society. He just worked tech and designed and constructed the set for their production of She Kills Monsters. Corey is a Bucks County native from Newtown, PA. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Justine Burnosky (Producer)
Justine is so excited to work with the director and the talented cast of Dog Sees God. A member since 2009, she can be frequently seen around Old Academy serving refreshments as the Chair of the Social Committee. Justine worked backstage in the following productions: The Book Club Play, Boeing Boeing, Looking, The Lion in Winter and most recently, The Exes. A big thank you to my husband for this opportunity.
Norman Burnosky III (Producer)
Norman is excited to help with Old Academy’s production of Dog Sees God. You might have caught Norman last season as Marcel Nistlerood in The Exes. Before that, he was Brendan in The Weir and Alfred in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. He is looking forward to ringing in the New Year with such a talented cast, crew, and director (who has an awesome name, by the way). He thanks his wonderful wife, Misia, for all her support, enthusiasm, and ideas!
Steve Hnatko (Producer)
Steve is thrilled beyond words to once again produce and lightning design for another OA show. Previous credits include Disenchanted, The Exes, Company, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, among many others. Steve made his on-stage debut in the 2024 OA Summer One Act Bonanza. Steve is also excited to light the stage for this fantastic cast including his wife, Annie Hnatko.
Jay Steinberg (Costumer)
Jay is thrilled to be returning to Old Academy Players where he’s recently appeared in The Dining Room and as Prim in The Exes. Costuming has always been a bucket list item and I’m happy to be working with Norm Burnosky again. Credits include playing the Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof at The Bryn Athyn Community Theater, Admiral Shreiber in The Sound of Music at the Candlelight Theater in Delaware, understudy for Maurice in Beauty and the Beast and Santa Claus in Elf: the Broadway Musical at Walnut Street Theater. Other roles are Lloyd in Rehearsal for Murder at the Barn Playhouse, Sam in The Cemetery Club at Acting Naturally, various roles in Dearly Departed at the Forge Theater, Captain Whitaker in A Few Good Men at Spotlight Theater, Billy in The House of Blue Leaves, Lt. Brannigan in Guys and Dolls, and Marty in After-Play at Players Club of Swarthmore. His favorite role is father and grandfather to his two daughters and 5 grandchildren.
